Sam turned 1 today. Will, Megan and I all went into his room together this morning and sang Happy Birthday to him. He just sat there and looked at us but it was a fun thing to do and maybe the beginning of a family tradition.
We waited until after her morning nap to start opening presents. He wasn't really into ripping the paper, but he did enjoy the presents that came out of it. After nap we gave him a couple more gifts, this time unwrapped and he was much happier with this method.
Sam was still not feeling 100% today, he had a runny nose and was whiny but he still had a great day.
We sure wish we could have been there. It wont be long before we get to see you all again and we cant wait. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMUEL!!!!
