Sam is always in "run" mode. The kids never walks and has to be constantly reminded to slow down. The bad part about his running is that he is always tripping over his own feet or toys, etc because he doesn't look where he is going. In the past 2 days he has gotten "little boy banged up". Both of his knees are scratched, one elbow is scratched and one cheek.
He handles it pretty well, he starts out with crying and then quickly asks for "froggy ice" (we have a little kids frog ice pack) and then he is all better. Today we let him get the ice pack out of the freezer by himself which was really fun to watch. We have 2 freezer drawers and he knows where the ice is kept. He had to pull with all of his might and really lean back to get the drawer to open, but he was so proud of himself for doing it without help.
