Sam is now saying "thank you mommy" when he asks for something and I give it to him. He also started saying "you're welcome" on his own. Obviously we have modeled using both of these with him, but haven't been expecting them of him.
Earlier today he was playing and he bumped his finger, which of course he called an owie. Anytime he does any little thing it is an owie. He will ask me to kiss them and then go about his way. Today he bumped his finger while climbing the slide he said "owie" and then kissed it and then kept going. I guess he didn't want to stop playing on the slide to get it fixed.
