Sam spends more time with me than anyone else so of course he copies my idiosyncrasies more than anyone else. I must say "let's see" when I am making a choice between options because every time Sam has to make a choice he says "hmmmm let's see" before choosing anything.
He is currently extremely excited about picking out his own pajamas and socks. He picks out his most fun socks (meaning not plain ones) each day and then at night picks out his pajamas. On nights when he doesn't want to go to bed all he has to do is remember that he gets to pick out jammies he gets very excited and gives night kisses quickly so he can get upstairs.
A couple of days ago Sam was playing a game on the iPad where you have to match letters to spell a word. After seeing an "h" twice he recognized it and said "that ones an h" and then he identified the "u" as well.
Sam has a little phone that he loves. It is part of Megan's kitchen set but he has made it his own. He loves it when we take his photo with our phones and has started taking photos with his play phone. He will hold it up and say cheese and take the photo. Oh my gosh it is adorable.
Two weeks ago when Sam and I were walking up to get in line to pick Megan up from school he looked at me and said "Megan talk to Sam". I told him she is working hard to be able to talk to him and he said "okay". Well, this past week Megan has started saying some words and she has been telling Sam "more" when she wants him to turn toys on again for her. He is responding really well to this and I think he is happy she is starting to talk to him.
