We drove past the carnival when it was being setup on Thursday afternoon. Sam saw the Ferris Wheel and asked what the very, very big steering wheel was all about. I told him what it was called and he asked if he could get on it right now. He asked if it went fast and I told him no (boy was I wrong on that one) and he asked again if he could ride it.
Today before nap I told him we would be doing something very fun after nap and he asked if we were going to ride the Ferris Wheel. He was so excited, when I went to get him up he said "it is time to ride the Ferris Wheel, I am very very excited and so happy. Are you happy?".
He loved all of the rides. This carnival was run by people who LOVE to go fast; every ride was moving way faster than I have ever seen them go. On one ride Megan was a little uncertain and leaned over and I watched the operator ease up on the pedal to slow the ride down until she was okay and then he floored it again.
We saved the Ferris Wheel for last. I video'd it because that thing was flying. I am thinking at least 3 rotations for every 1 of a regularly moving one.
Sam was not too happy to leave the carnival and asked if we could go back after dinner.
